1. Introduction
Welcome to Hasibu Technologies Limited (“Hasibu,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using Hasibu’s services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
These terms apply to all users of Hasibu’s subscription-based business management software, including those making payments via:
✅ DPO (Network Group) for card payments (Visa/Mastercard, etc.)
✅ MPESA Express via Safaricom Daraja API for mobile money transactions
If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use Hasibu’s services.
2. Services & Subscription
2.1 Service Description
Hasibu provides cloud-based business management solutions that allow SMEs to manage sales, inventory, expenses, and customer data.
2.2 Subscription Plans
- Our services are provided on a subscription basis with monthly billing.
- Subscription fees vary based on the selected package (See pricing details on our website).
2.3 Account Registration & Security
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for Hasibu.
- You are responsible for securing your account credentials.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Payment Methods
We support the following payment methods:
(a) Card Payments via DPO (Network Group)
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other major debit/credit cards via DPO.
- A 3.5% transaction fee applies to all card payments.
(b) MPESA Express via Safaricom Daraja API
- Customers can initiate payments via MPESA Express directly through the Hasibu platform.
- Standard Safaricom MPESA Paybill charges apply.
3.2 Automatic Billing
- Subscription fees are charged automatically on the billing date.
- If a payment fails, your account may be temporarily suspended until payment is completed.
3.3 Failed Payments & Penalties
- If a payment fails, Hasibu will notify you via email/SMS.
- Unresolved failed payments may result in restricted account access.
4. Subscription Cancellations
- You may cancel your subscription anytime from your Hasibu account settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time after cancellation.
5. Service Availability & Limitations
- Hasibu is a cloud-based platform, and service availability depends on both our infrastructure and the user’s internet connectivity.
- While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, we are not responsible for service interruptions caused by:
✅ User’s ISP (Internet Service Provider) issues.
✅ Poor or unstable network connections on the user’s side.
✅ Power outages or local connectivity failures.
✅ Device malfunctions preventing access to the platform. - Additionally, Hasibu is not liable for third-party disruptions, including:
✅ MPESA system downtime or failed transactions.
✅ DPO (Network Group) payment processing failures.
✅ Bank or card network issues affecting transactions. - Hasibu reserves the right to conduct scheduled maintenance or urgent system updates, during which services may be temporarily unavailable.
- If scheduled maintenance is required, we will provide prior notice via email or in-app notifications.
6. User Responsibilities
By using Hasibu, you agree to:
✔ Provide accurate business information during registration.
✔ Use the software only for legal business operations.
✔ Not engage in fraud, abuse, or misuse of Hasibu’s services.
Failure to comply with these terms may lead to account termination.
7. Dispute Resolution
- If you have a dispute regarding payments, service interruptions, or any other issue, contact Hasibu Support first.
- If unresolved, disputes will be handled in accordance with Kenyan laws.
